Julie Childs – Glass Artist

Julie Childs has worked as a glass artist and designer since 1986, beginning
her career as a glass engraver before introducing colour into her work in
the form of a special glass paint. She has designed bespoke ranges for HM
Tower of London, St Pauls Cathedral and Westminster Abbey and in
recent years, The National Trust. She currently has many stockists
throughout the UK and welcomes new collectors everywhere.
Each glass is individually hand-painted by
Julie and embellished in a gold liner to detail
and enhance the design – streaming sunlight
or ambient candlelight shining through the
coloured glass creates a truly vibrant and
uplifting effect.
