|Since retiring from my role as a head teacher in a school for children with complex learning needs, I have found that I now have time to play!
I “play” with paint, pastels, fabric, threads plus anything which, when combined, will help me create what I am trying to achieve. From a child I have always loved making things with my hands and now when inspiration strikes I can start straight away. I have also been accepted to join the Norfolk craft guild and the Broads Art Society and have met some wonderful, like minded people. Both groups exhibit at Blickling Hall which is a good opportunity to showcase my work.
I love the natural world and the marvellous creatures in it; part of my work is to focus on some of the most endangered species globally and which in turn allows me to support the essential work of the World Wildlife Fund. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and I hope I have managed to capture some of the beauty that is all around us.
